TV Griddle Bar - Build Process

For years and years we had a round glass table on the patio next to the BBQ. It was round, not a good fit for the space and one day the glass top shattered. After the cleanup, there was mostly an open space with a bit of clutter, so not only did we design the Tv Griddle Bar, we made a cabinet to store the clutter.

Initial concept design

Why the interesting angle?

There was a natural walkway to get past the BBQ and to the screen room door. It required a slight left turn and changing the angle of the table just seemed to fit the natural path better.

The space sits in front of a window to the Great Room. If there were a TV sitting there all the time, it would block the view through the window, and it would also be exposed to the elements, so when not in use, we drop it down into a cabinet in the table. Problems solved: no blocky view, and protecto tv-o.

We would enjoy breakfast at the mill at Delion Springs and specifically the griddle built into each table

The box running the length of the table, that is for clutter that was formerly on the table, and also cable management.
