Woodworking Tools For RV Floor Construction

Here are a collection of tools used for installing a layered and insulated floor in your RV. You will use these same tools for many other tasks. In general, I find higher quality tools last longer and are worth the money.

Slotting Cutter Router Bit 1/8-Inch 1/4-Inch Shank

This bit is the perfect size for making 1/8 slots on the edge of plywood and connecting two plywood parts with 1/8 aluminum flat bar.

Spiral Bit with Up Cut Solid Carbide 1/4-Inch Cutting Diameter

These bits are nice for doing plunge slot cuts, 1/4 dado cuts and edge trimming.

Cordless Router, 18 Volts

I use this router and a small corded router. This one is my favorite. I had a large corded router but it did not get any use so I sold it.

Small Corded Router

This router gets used quite a bit. I keep it on the ready with a roundover bit installed.

Countersink Bit

When I want to flush mount screws, I make room for the screw head by using a countersink bit.

Jig Saw

This has been an excelent saw for me. Inexpensive, powerful, compact and it just gets the job done.
